They are way lower in sodium then the beans you buy in the store. And yes they are really good.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 onion- chopped
- 1 15 oz. can low sodium pinto beans-rinsed and drained
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon tomato paste-low sodium
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 3/4-1 cup vegetable broth-low sodium
- Herb ox -no Sodium Chicken Bullion
- Directions:
- Saute onion in a sprayed pan.
- Mix all the rest of the ingredients in a food processor.
- Add to the onions.
- Cook mixture on medium heat until all the moisture is absorbed and the beans are thick.
